Main guide for giveaways: giveaway wheel guide. The tool is the wheel spinner.

Wheel Spinner for OBS and Streamlabs

Streamers search for a wheel spinner for OBS when chat should watch the winner appear beside the game, not in a tab they cannot see. The same page works in Streamlabs. You add the wheel as a browser source, crop it, and spin on stream so the draw is the proof.

What you are actually capturing

OBS and Streamlabs do not need a special “Twitch wheel” file. They need a web page. Open AllWheel’s wheel spinner in the streaming software, not only in your own Chrome window. A browser source loads that URL inside the scene.

The page background is not transparent. Crop the source to the wheel, or capture a window you have already sized. Do not promise viewers a floating overlay you have not cropped. A clean crop reads better than a chroma key on a white page.

OBS browser source, step by step

Add the source

In the Sources panel, choose Browser. Name it “Giveaway wheel.” Set the URL to https://allwheel.click/wheel-spinner. Width 1280 and height 720 are enough for a corner wheel. Check “Shutdown source when not visible” only if you are fine reloading the list when you show the wheel again. “Refresh browser when scene becomes active” reloads the page and clears names you typed, so leave it off during a draw.

Control the page

Right-click the source and choose Interact. Type the entrant list there, then click Present. Present covers the site header and leaves the wheel, the spin control, and the winner. Interact is how you click Spin without alt-tabbing to a second monitor the audience never sees. When the list is ready, stop interacting so a stray click does not edit a name on air.

Crop for the layout

Hold Alt and drag the source edges (on Windows) to crop away the header and the empty page. On a Mac, hold Option. Leave the wheel, the spin control, and enough of the name list that chat can see you did not hide entries. Place it opposite your face cam so both stay readable at 1080p.

The same setup in Streamlabs

Streamlabs Desktop uses the same browser source idea. Add a Browser Source, paste the wheel URL, set 1280×720, then use Interact to fill the list. If you built the scene in OBS and imported it, check the URL still points at the wheel and that Interact still works. A migrated source sometimes keeps a stale cache. Refresh once before the show, then do not refresh again until the winner is announced.

Streamlabs’ own spin widgets are a different product. If you use those, this guide does not apply. If you want the draw to stay in the browser you can record, keep the AllWheel page as the source.

Run a chat giveaway viewers can audit

  1. Close entries at a time you already put in the title or a chat command.
  2. Paste the eligible names into the wheel while Interact is on and the source is visible.
  3. Read the count. Turn on remove-winner if you are drawing more than one prize.
  4. Click Spin once. Leave the result up long enough to read the name in chat.
  5. Clip that stretch. The clip is the record if someone says you redrew off stream.

Platform rules still apply. A wheel does not make a giveaway allowed on Twitch, YouTube, or Kick. Pair this setup with a YouTube giveaway workflow or the giveaway rules guide when the prize is public.

Layout problems that make the draw look fake

The list is off camera

If chat only sees a spinning circle, they cannot tell whether their name was loaded. Keep at least a scroll of names in frame before the spin, or show a full-screen scene of the list for five seconds, then cut to the cropped wheel.

You refresh mid-draw

A refresh wipes the browser source. Viewers see the list vanish and a new one appear. That looks like a second draw. Reload only between segments, with a spoken reason.

Audio ducks the winner

Game audio and alert sounds cover the name. Lower the game for the spin, or put the winner in a text label you leave on screen. The visual result matters more than a sound effect.

Window capture when browser source fights you

Some filters, ad scripts, or a logged-in browser profile behave differently inside OBS. If Interact will not click Spin, open the wheel in a normal window, size it to the wheel, and use Window Capture on that window. Dedicate the window to the draw. Do not capture your whole desktop, or chat will see alerts and other tabs. Window capture is less elegant and just as valid if the list and the spin stay in one continuous shot.

FAQ

Can I add AllWheel to OBS as a browser source?

Yes. Add a Browser source, set the URL to https://allwheel.click/wheel-spinner, and use Interact to type names. Click Present to hide the site header, then click Spin. Crop the source so the wheel fits your scene. The page background is still solid white.

Does Streamlabs use a different wheel URL?

No. Streamlabs Desktop can load the same wheel page as a browser source. Do not refresh the source after the list is on screen or the names will disappear.

Why is the wheel not transparent in OBS?

The page background is solid. Crop the browser source to the wheel instead of chroma-keying a white page. Window capture is the fallback if Interact will not click Spin.

How do viewers know I did not redraw off stream?

Keep the list and the spin in one continuous shot, then clip it. A refresh or a cut between two different lists is what makes a draw look replaced.
